Policy on AIThe journal's policy on generative artificial intelligence1. The editors of the journal "Organizational Psychology" share the position of the international publishing community regarding the use of artificial intelligence in the preparation of scientific articles, as set out in the documents of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE Authorship and AI tools), the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME Chatbots, Generative AI, and Scholarly Manuscripts), the International Association of Scientific, Technical and Medical Publishers (STM Generative AI in Scholarly Communications). 2. Generative artificial intelligence (AI) technologies (e.g., chatbots or large language models with artificial intelligence, such as, for example, ChatGPT) can under no circumstances be listed as the author of an article or as a co-author who made a significant contribution to the preparation of the manuscript. Programs, services, and tools based on generative artificial intelligence do not meet the authorship requirements, since they do not bear (and cannot bear) responsibility for the submitted work, cannot declare the presence or absence of a conflict of interest, or manage copyright. 3. The use of chatbots or other AI-based services is not prohibited when preparing a manuscript. In some cases, such programs can be used to edit text, search for additional sources of literature, collect and analyze data. At the same time, authors must take into account that services of this kind often provide false information, which requires additional and ongoing verification. 4. If an AI-based program was used in preparing a manuscript, it is necessary to indicate the name and version of the program, the request criteria, and describe in detail the methodology for its use, usually in the "Research Methods" section of the article. The responsibility for the text of the manuscript submitted to the editorial board lies solely with the author(s), regardless of which artificial intelligence-based programs and to what extent they used them. A detailed description of the use of AI tools, technologies, programs, and services can also be provided in the cover letter. 5. When checking manuscripts, the editors use the appropriate module of the Antiplagiat system, which allows detecting text generated by AI. The final decision in each specific case is made by the editorial board in interaction with the author of the publication. Reviewers of the journal "Organizational Psychology" should not process the manuscript or part of it received for review using AI tools, as this may violate the confidentiality and intellectual property rights of the authors. This requirement also applies to the text of the review itself. 6. Members of the editorial staff, including the editor-in-chief, working with the author's manuscript, should not process the manuscript or part of it received for review using AI services, as this may violate the confidentiality and intellectual property rights of the authors. |
